Ok I have 6 RIR's about 4 weeks old and 3 BR's about 2 weeks old they are all on medicated chick starter. I have a book that says I need to feed them grower from 6-20 weeks and then layer from 20 weeks on. I haven't seen any grower (which my book says is 15-16% protein) feed in my local feed store.In the Brooder. The chick eats & drinks alright but feels more sleepy than the others & not as active. And also keeps his/her feather fluffy all the time, like if feeling cold.
