We admire long-range competitive shooters for doing something we mere shooting mortals find nearly impossible. I have a T3 Lite Stainless in .270 and a Hawkeye All-Weather in 7RM. The T3 is lighter, more accurate (thus far), and has a better factory trigger, in my opinion. However, the Ruger definitely seems to be more rugged and constructed of better quality materials.

The tikka is better over all. You can get a full howa set up for under 300. A base tikka will run 500-600. I don’t think the tikka is 2x as good as howa but not everything in life is linear, you pay more of a premium for better stuff.

The T3x Lite and the Axis II XP are usable, but they're really light weight hunting rifles. The Tikka in particular has a barrel so light that it probably isn't what you want for a rifle that you are shooting long range. It was designed to be a tight woods and hiking rifle. The RAP is better for that role.
