Locking blocks and barrel lugs are the same between the 26 and 19. I’ve ran 19 barrels in my 26 without issue so that shouldn’t be a problem. I’d probably try cutting the front rails back using a P80 frame first to test the theory - specifically the 19 size (PF940C) - since you’d potentially destroy an OEM frame.

Lots of "tactical" slides have openings all over. Revolvers are open. Some factory Glocks have a hole in the dustcover to reduce weight.Why the hell won't Glock just come out with what everybody wants, a Glock 19 frame with 17 slide, all these games get old.
