When the Khajiit caravan showed up the other day, everyone but the merchant appeared. There were like four dragon attacks in Dawnstar in the past coupe of hours, and one time, practically the whole village, including the Khajiit caravan (somehow) were involved. I'm worried that she may have been killed and I didn't know it.

This one in particular belongs to Ahkari, the Khajiit caravan merchant that travels between Riften and Dawnstar. Her Merchant Chest is infamously poorly hidden and can be accessed, thus effectively stealing her wares without technically stealing it. The Unofficial Patch adjusts the chest’s location to be properly hidden.

It resets whenever the khajit caravan arrives, and when they do arrive you can purchase the items that were in the chest from the khajit. Don’t ask how much gold I have made from this chest. Don’t.
