No, NACA works with thousands of real estate agents nationwide. NACA has established an extremely effective program to return home buyers to the real estate agents who refer them to NACA. NACA wants to ensure that your client has the time to become NACA Qualified (i.e., mortgage ready) and then would be in the best position to work with you.The first step in the NACA Qualification process is attendance of the Homebuyer Workshop (HBW). There are no documents that are required to bring since the purpose of the HBW is to introduce homebuyers to the NACA program and educate them on the process. The only suggested items to bring with would be note-taking items (pen/paper).I started the NACA program in November… I started the NACA program in November 2023 when I attended one of their workshops with my spouse. We are in the process of getting a house with NACA. We are submitting all the documents they are asking and looking forward to get house soon with the help of our counselor.

NACA needs proof of your financial situation to determine how much they can safely lend you. There are a few main steps: Attend a homeowners workshop. Here they explain which paperwork you need to get approved for your mortgage. You can sign up for a workshop through the website. Meet with your counselor. At this four-hour workshop you will learn the details about the NACA program and the home buying process. This includes detailed information to become NACA Qualified (i.e., mortgage ready). You can attend a face-to-face workshop near you. NACA provides two workshops a month for each office usually on a Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
