Sometimes, with the next Protovyre Ephemera, you don't gain any progress at all for your challenges. If you go into your spoiler mode, it should allow you to correctly gain the focus. The curious case of disappearing ephemera. Bug. This issue has been posted couple of times but apparently DE hasn't noticed yet. For a few updates now ephemeras disappear randomly after you load into missions, be it on operator or frame. Most of the vengeful ephemeras, frostfall, protovyre and spore disappear and it's incredibly frustrating.

And it is a little bit of a pain in the ass. But it's also kinda rewarding, since the Protovyre Standana and its enhanced form both look really good. Volt with the Protovyre Syandana.
