You can also invest that money into divine scrolls or potions. If you are playing a warpriest cleric, then maybe a magic shield. In general, wands are handy magic items for any spellcaster.

Ray of Enfeeblement has twice as many points of failure as stuff like Demoralize. You have to first manage to hit with the spell, which can sometimes be fairly iffy against at-level or higher enemies.
