I've really only found 1 build that's good for alchemist, which is Quick Bomber, Sticky Bomb, Calculated Splash & Expanded Splash. With that combo, they can outdamage even a Fighter (on average, assuming persistent lasts 4 rounds) on the first round of combat.

The Alchemist has some exceptions compared to the other classes in PF2: - it's Key Ability Score isn't used for its offensive actions. It doesn't use INT to attack so that is a pitfall for class effectiveness. Also it means it can't start with an 18 in its attack stat.
