I messed around with Jho's gun a few days ago, and found that's what worked best when it came to maximizing damage output for that gun. HBG Wyvernheart Advice. MHR. Hey I'm working on finalizing my Wyvernheart build for HBG before moving onto other builds. The core is specially ammo boost 2 (thank God for gems so I don't have to use pukkei armor) and focus (right now I have Anja chest + helmet but I'm thinking about gemming it in instead). Basically I want to maximize wyvernheart.Alternate best early-game armor - Tetranadon set. If you need higher defense as you progress through the early ranks, the Tetranadon set is a good choice. Each piece has a base defense stat of 18 ...Pierce skill doesn’t affect elemental ammo. Max critical eye, pierce ticks and cham is long, spareshot maxed , fire attack maxed and critical element maxed. You need 1 recoil speed deco to get it the fastest. I play with 1 evade extender because it makes rolls with HBG feel much better but you don’t need that.You still feel like a glass cannon while using the HBG, but your little fly friends bouncing around with the LBG are going to compete. HBG does have some very interesting explosive builds and elemental builds, however. Guard 5 for HBG by itself is absolute trash until you stack it with Embolden and Tune-Up.
