As a beginning point suggest checking the battery. Measure the pickup coil peak voltage: Remove the ignitor coupler. Connect the peak voltage tester with the + probe to the blue/white lead wire and the - probe to the green lead wire. Turn the ignition on, pull the clutch and crank the engine for a few seconds. peak voltage should be more than 1.5 volts.

2002 kawasaki vulcan 800 classic. ok, I've read alot of threads on this but nothing helps. My bike runs very well after warming up. The bike pops thru the carb and yes it's thru the carb. When I got the bike it leaked gas into the crankcase (all of it the gas). After rebuild it runs like a badass but still pops at low rpms.

Most bikes would be about 15V at 5000 rpm, but you need to find the specs for your bike. It could be that the meter is off, though. You might want to check the voltage and the connection points with a multimeter to compare.
