When I began studying, it was winter break, so I focused on reading the Kaplan books/Vanilla doc for about 7-8 hours a day, including doing the review questions in the books. I had about 14 days of full-time studying before I went back to lab and cut my studying down to 1-2 hours a day. I supplemented reading the Kaplan books with Anki.

There's a lot of info from the 300 page doc that I've only seen there. If Kaplan's P/S book is anything like TPR, they're only going to give a bare bones review of high yield. Didn't do Kaplan but felt the exact same with TPR P/S.
I read through the 86 pg doc once and kind of just skimmed it every now and then, testing myself, and sometimes referred to the 300 pg doc if I wanted more detail about a particular term. However, if you have never studied psych before, it might be more useful for you to go through the 300 pg doc.
The 100 page document will mainly cover everything but if you have the time, definitely look through the 300 page doc. P/S is now changing and is not simply all about knowing and lightly applying terms, so also focus on FLs 3-4 and the section bank when you get to them.Edward K. Kaplan. Hello, For example, I was studying a section on electron orbitals, which took me a while because I was very rusty on the subject. After finally grasping it, which took me almost an hour for the whole section, I saw that the section only had 3 stars!!! Kaplan uses a ranking system from 1 - 6 starts based on how common and how difficult a section is.TPR really offers a solid foundation if you like to learn things by reading through a textbook, although it doesn't come close to that of what the 300 page KA notes offers you. I got a 132 just using TPR and the KA notes (I think I used the 100 page version though). However I have seen some people saying a lot of what the MCAT tests on for psych/soc is better learned through just memorizing theorists, psychologists, theories, etc. and that there are better ways to learn it than reading the Kaplan book (like Flashcards and a 300 page document of some sort?).
