I took the old metal tank out of my 89 and used a 20 gallon tank for a 94 or 95 YJ with the in tank pump. It needed a supply and return line so I used a corvette regulator mounted to the frame back by the tank therefore only running one line forward to the fuel rail. If you used a mechanical fuel pump. Then it would have to be one for a SBC. The old Jeep's with carbs used a mechanical pump that wouldn't fit on a SBC. Sense it's a 95, if the stock pump in the tank is still functional then you just need a pressure reducer specific for carbs.To mitigate the fuel siphon effect, some of us have installed an aftermarket one way valve between the fuel filter and the metal return line. The metal ones are supposed to be more durable than the plastic ones. Pic 1 is a pair of plastic valves. Pic 2 shows an improper fuel filter install. The overflow outlet goes at 12:00 O'Clock.If it's only leaking while it's RUNNING AT the tank, it's most likely your return line and/or hose clamp.
