From what I can tell, everyone gets put on the priority waitlist, and CMU puts way too many people on the waitlist for reasons I truly do not understand. But 205 admitted students decided to enroll. It’s safe to say no students came off waitlist last year. In addition, the SCS program is extremely challenging.
