If you’re also considering 100%-ing the scans, your percentage should be much higher for scans. There are actually missable scans though, so it might be valuable to verify what you have against the missable scans before you break your back to complete the log book.

Improvements to scanning are at the top of my Metroid Prime 4 wish list. The worse part of the prime trilogy for me were bosses with multiple phases all requiring a separate scan. I'm about to reach the Impact Crater. Out of the 6 scans I need, I can only get Lumigek, Meta Ridley, and both of the Metroid Prime scans. I completely forgot you had to scan Flaahgra's Tentacle as well. By the time I had already gotten to Phazon Mines, I looked up a checklist to try and see what was left.
