After installing tk craft just download the shader you want to try for version 1.12 and then open the game rlcraft and in the option go to video setting and there should be shader option you can change from there. Also since you have a powerful RTX i recommend you to use complementary reimagined or ( rethinking voxels) rethinking voxels have the best lighting so far above all of the shader packs. try allocating more ram to minecraft rlcraft, if you have the minecraft launcher go to the "Installations" menu, there go to the rlcraft version and click on it, then click "More options" and you will get a thing called "-Xmx2G" on the bottom, there just edit the "2G" and put the ram you want to use, try some parameters and see if you have lag spikes or not, if you wanna locate 6 gb of ram you ...

Cant use shaders with mods. I use tlauncher for mods when i run optifine i can run shaders but when I run rlcraft i cant run shaders how do I add shaders to rlcraft. Not sure if its possible to do on tlauncher but you need to go into the file directory for RLCraft and manually add Optifine for Minecraft 1.12.2 into the "mods" folder. It worked!

I think that might be the problem because you need the 1.12.2 version of optifine since rlcraft runs on that one. When your on the optifine website just click show more versions and scroll down and get 1.12.2 version.
