Make sure the trigger pin is pushed in enough and the spring has good outward tension (bend it up like others have said). If that doesn’t work, get a Vickers tactical slide release. That is a guaranteed fix for shitty slide release levers that come in frame parts kits.

P80 replaced the rear rail and this solved the reset issue. However, the trigger pull was really really difficult, around 8-9 pounds and sometime I even needed to really exert to make it release the firing pin.The issue was with an out of spec trigger/trigger bar. My friend had some extra parts for me to try along with a complete trigger assembly.
