The Journal of Social Work is a forum for the publication, dissemination and debate of key ideas and research in social work. publishes articles on psychological assessment, treatment, and practice implications. This study compared Social Work Abstracts and Social Services Abstracts databases in terms of indexing, journal coverage, and searches. The authors interviewed editors, analyzed journal coverage, and compared searches. It was determined that the databases complement one another more than compete.
